Party Branch of TASA Conducted Themed Education and Practice

On September 23, the Party Branch of Tsinghua (Qingdao) Academy of Arts and Science Innovation Research (TASA) organized all Party members to visit the Yimeng Revolutionary History Memorial Hall and the Memorial Hall for the Former Headquarters of the East China Field Army. The visit aimed to consolidate and expand the outcomes of revolutionary legacy-themed education, further strengthen the Party spirit and cultivation of Party members, firm up ideals and beliefs, and stimulate enthusiasm for work and entrepreneurship. Applicants for Party membership in TASA also participated in this profound themed education event on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.

It was a day with lightly drizzling rain. At the Yimeng Revolutionary History Memorial Hall, all participants, filled with immense reverence, followed the commentator’s steps to visit thematic exhibition halls such as “Party-Mass Unity, Deep Army-People Affection, Army-People Harmony, and Sharing Life and Death.” A large number of precious historical photos, cultural relics, sculptures, scenes, and multimedia displays vividly reproduced the magnificent and moving epic of the people in the Yimeng revolutionary base area who, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, enthusiastically supported the front lines, selflessly dedicated themselves, and wrote down a moving chapter during the revolutionary war era. All participants gained an in-depth understanding of the profound connotation and contemporary value of the Yimeng Spirit characterized by “Army-People Harmony, Sharing Life and Death,” and were deeply moved by the firm faith and immense spirit of sacrifice of the people in the old revolutionary base.

This red culture village, located on the east bank of the Yi River, was once the command center of the East China Field Army, witnessing a glorious chapter in the combat history of the People’s Liberation Army of China. By visiting sites such as the former command headquarters and memorial halls, all participants gained detailed insights into the glorious history of the East China Field Army’s heroic combat and repeated remarkable feats. They honored the monumental contributions of revolutionary forebears, experiencing their strategic brilliance in planning victories from afar and their revolutionary heroism—fearless of sacrifice and courageous spirit.

Moving forward, the Party Branch of TASA will continue to innovate educational formats and enrich educational content, guide all Party members and young key personnel to draw wisdom and strength from the Party’s century-long service. The learning outcomes will be translated into a powerful driving force for promoting the integrated development of the university and local community. With a more spirited attitude and solid achievements, they will contribute wisdom and strength to the high-quality development of TASA and the nation's modernization.
